For Children, Teens and Adults
Take advantage of intervention services specialising in autism and intellectual impairment to develop and master basic skills for daily living. Our specialists are available to support children, adolescents and adults.
The majority of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or general developmental delay (GDD), present with various learning disabilities. They need support to develop basic skills for daily living. Their difficulties in communication, interaction and socialisation cause them to have significant barriers in terms of their adaptation and social integration with peers. The objective of the ABA method is to equip them with the proper tools to better manage their behaviour in a minimal way so that they can successfully integrate into society.
ABA intervention consists of long-term strategies to assist children, teens and adults in setting up an independence that will allow social, academic and professional integration. This is done by allowing the client to develop basic learning skills (language, autonomy, movement, school, play, etc.) and to reduce behavioral disorders that impede these objectives (crying, aggressiveness, anxiety, etc.).

The majority of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), global developmental delay (GDD) or intellectual disability (ID) have learning difficulties. Their difficulties in communication, interaction and socialization create significant barriers for them in terms of adaptation and social integration. They therefore need support to develop basic skills in order to organize their daily lives and support their development. The objective of the ABA method is intended to equip them to better manage their behavior so as to enable them to integrate into the school environment, and eventually society.
The ABA intervention consists of providing the child with the means to set up a life plan that maximizes their autonomy, their social, educational and professional integration. They must therefore acquire basic learning (language, games, autonomy, motor skills, academic skills, etc.) which will help reduce their behavioral problems (screaming, aggressiveness, anxiety, etc.) and support their learning potential.
In addition to offering one-on-one services to children and their parents, we work to find solutions and provide resources to the community to meet both personal and professional challenges. To continue our commitment, we offer a series of workshops directed at educators in order to support them in the integration of their special needs students. These workshops are intended to help educators and childcare support staff integrate children with special needs into their groups.
Thanks to more than fifteen years of experience with this clientele and their families, we know that with the right tools, educators can effectively manage difficult situations while creating a more harmonious environment for all their students. If you would like more information or for a workshop reservation, please contact us for more details.
